Welcome to Kabale Safari Club. The following Booking Terms and Conditions govern all reservations, services, and experiences offered by our lodge and tour operations in Kabale. By confirming a booking with Kabale Safari Club, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

Booking and Reservation Policy

All bookings at Kabale Safari Club must be made through our official communication channels, including email or telephone.

  • Reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking
  • A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment
  • Guests will receive a written confirmation once the reservation is secured

We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak travel seasons near Lake Bunyonyi and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

 

Payment Policy

To secure your stay at Kabale Safari Club, the following payment terms apply:

  • A deposit (usually 30%–50%) is required at the time of booking
  • The balance must be paid before arrival or upon check-in, as advised
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or other agreed methods

All payments must be completed within the specified timelines to avoid automatic cancellation.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Kabale Safari Club, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

  • 30 days or more before arrival: Full refund (excluding transaction fees)
  • 15–29 days before arrival: 50% refund
  • Less than 15 days before arrival: No refund

Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe. However, bank or transaction charges may apply.

 

Amendments and Changes

Guests may request changes to their bookings, subject to availability:

  • Date changes must be communicated in advance
  • Additional costs may apply depending on new arrangements

Kabale Safari Club reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances

 

Check-In and Check-Out Policy

To ensure smooth operations at Kabale Safari Club, the following timings apply:

  • Check-in: From 12:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 10:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged upon request and availability.

 

Guest Responsibilities

Guests staying at Kabale Safari Club are expected to:

  • Respect lodge property and facilities
  • Follow safety guidelines during activities and excursions
  • Respect local communities and cultural practices
  • Avoid behavior that may disturb other guests

Any damage caused to property may result in additional charges.

 

Health, Safety, and Travel Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet all travel requirements:

  • Valid travel documents and visas where applicable
  • Recommended vaccinations and health precautions
  • Personal travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and activities

Activities such as gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park may require permits and adherence to strict guidelines.

  • We are not liable for loss, injury, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control
  • This includes natural events, delays, or third-party service failures
  • Guests participate in activities at their own risk

We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance.

 

Force Majeure

Kabale Safari Club shall not be held responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Political instability
  • Pandemics or health emergencies

In such cases, alternative arrangements or credits may be offered where possible.

All personal information provided to Kabale Safari Club will be handled with confidentiality and used solely for booking and service purposes. We do not share guest information with unauthorized third parties.
